We have 2 RPN vacancies for The Elden in Bradford. The shifts vary. The RPN is expected to have facility experience. We are looking for ongoing staff that can commit to regular shifts with this home and pick up additional shifts with other clients as needed. Must live within a 30 minute commute to Bradford, ON.

The successful candidate’s areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Conducting assessments and reassessments
• Developing, monitoring, and updating plans of care, as assigned
• Providing medication support and administration
• Responding to all emergency situations
• Completing reports and communicating with the family about any changes in care
• Meeting the Standards of the College of Nurses of Ontario at all times
• All other duties, as assigned

Key qualifications for this position will include, but are not limited to:

• Current certificate of competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario 
• Valid First Aid/CPR certificate 
• Vulnerable sector screen and 2 satisfactory professional references
• Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions
• G-tube experience, med resistive and reactive
• Must have a valid drivers license and reliable vehicle
• Willingness to work every other weekend
• Effective time management skills to work under specified time constraints and in accordance with job routines, while observing policies and procedures as well as applicable work standards and safety regulations
